400 Million Views & Counting

It all started with a girl just being silly on the internet.

If you’ve followed my journey for any amount of time, you’ve probably seen the evolution—the characters with wigs, the chaos, the reels that made you laugh, and maybe even the ones that made you cry. But what you may not have seen were the moments in between. The ones where I wasn’t sure if I should keep posting. Where I lost friends. Yes, in real life too. Lost a lot of followers. Got unfollowed across every platform—Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat. And yes, even LinkedIn tried it. (Okay, not really. I would never be on there LOL.)

But somewhere in the middle of all of that loss… I gained something else. I gained it all back. And then some.

There were so many people who didn’t believe in me. So many who unfollowed while I climbed what I now call “Cringe Mountain.” But I saw other people doing it, and I told myself: if it’s possible for them, then it’s possible for me too. That’s how reality works. It has to be possible if it already exists.

And I don’t think this is just about social media. I think it’s about life. About any goal or creative pursuit, really. A lot of success isn’t just about talent. It’s about resilience. It’s about the ability to look ridiculous, to fall on your face in public, and still get back up. Again and again.

There are creators out there with better equipment. Bigger budgets. More experience. But what sets me apart has never been the polish—it’s my persistence. It’s the love for the craft. It’s never giving up, even when I wanted to.

If my story says anything, I hope it says this: Hold on. Just keep going. Simple, but packed with a ton of meaning.

We live in a world addicted to instant gratification, but the truth is, most real breakthroughs happen over time. And it takes patience. Grit. Self-belief. It didn’t matter if anyone else liked my work as long as I or Megan Fox liked it (Yeah, still screaming, by the way. I can’t believe she liked my reel! I’m putting that on my resume until the end of time).

So here we are. 400 million views later. Thank you for being here, whether you joined on Day 1 or just last night. I hope I’ve made you laugh. I hope I’ve made you feel less alone. And I hope you never forget that your story matters even when no one else sees it yet.

More magic to come in 2026. You’re gonna love it!

Love always,

Carmen Vera
